Easy recognisable by their “Happy to Help You” badges, Airport Helpers are airport employees that have volunteered, on top of their day-to-day work, to actively contribute to improving the welcome and support offered to our customers.

Working together to cultivate a “Welcome Attitude”

The concept of an Airport Helper initiative was first introduced in 2005 at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport. Since its launch at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport in October 2013, it has recruited 1,850 Airport Helpers and currently receives support from around 60 partner companies.

Today, the Airport Helper community continues to fly the flag for world-class customer service and represents the mutual desire of all airport stakeholders to improve the passenger experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Welcome = a key factor in improving customer satisfaction

The community of Airport Helpers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle is currently made up of 1,700 (active) volunteers.

Roll-out of the Airport Helper initiative in 2019

To help spread the word about this concept to your colleagues and employees, Paris-Charles de Gaulle’s Airport Helper Team has organised a series of awareness-raising sessions:

Upcoming dates

– Tuesday 12 March and Tuesday 26 March
– Tuesday 9 April
– Tuesday 14 May and Tuesday 22 May
– Tuesday 11 June and Tuesday 25 June

All sessions will be held from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Environmental and Sustainable Development Resource Centre at the Groupe ADP head office.
