Following its exhibition on the life of Dina Vierny, founder of Musée Maillol, Paris-Charles de Gaulle’s Espace Musées in Terminal 2E Hall M will be hosting a new exhibition from April 2019. The collection, entitled “Voyages d’explorateurs” (Voyages of Explorers), has been organised in partnership with the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac.

With sixty original works of art displayed by continent, this exhibition illustrates the incredible diversity of the museum’s collections, whilst telling the stories of the journeys made by the men and women, explorers and ethnologists, who helped build these collections.

Among the pieces selected are works from the personal collections of Claude Lévi-Strauss, Louis XIV, Alexandra David-Neel (one of the first female explorers), and magnificent items collected during The Korrigane expedition.

The Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac will also be showcased in the Arrivals areas this spring, welcoming our travellers with an exhibition in the Terminal 2F disembarkation walkway.
