The Group faces a number of challenges including traffic growth, stricter regulations regarding security and safety, and the implementation of the Single European Sky initiative. In order to respond to these challenges while at the same time strengthening the coherence and efficiency of the Paris airport system, Groupe ADP has decided to create an Operations Division (DGO), managed by Franck Goldnadel, the Executive Director of Airport Operations and Director of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

This Division, which is made up of around a hundred people from different departments of the Group, was created to pool various areas of expertise to serve the Paris airports: Paris-CDG, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget. The aim is to optimise cross-functionality and harmony in the measures taken by these three airports and to define guidelines in terms of terminal operations, transport and parking, aircraft security and safety, and technical policy, for instance.

The DGO will not act as a substitute to the three airport divisions, which will continue to be the structuring mesh of the steering opérations and the main point of access for customers and partners of the Paris airports.

Presented to the Works Committee of Groupe ADP on July 2016 and February 2017 , the Operations Division should be functional by 1 June 2017.
