On 7 January, Jean-François Copé, President of the Pays de Meaux agglomeration community and Mayor of Meaux, and Augustin de Romanet, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Groupe ADP, signed a three-year partnership agreement between the two entities.

This signing aims to strengthen the existing links between the two structures, accelerate their operational collaboration, and facilitate specific mutually-beneficial actions with other partners, in particular the Emploi Roissy CDG public interest group.

“The airport is a tremendous driver of the economy of the Paris region, and current employment opportunities will greatly benefit from the increase in traffic and the opening of Terminal 4.” Jean-François Copé

“Groupe ADP and the Pays de Meaux agglomeration community share the same ambition for the north of the Paris region: to ensure that it is a territory of excellence which benefits its inhabitants and local companies.” Augustin de Romanet

Four primary areas of collaboration have been identified:

  • The promotion, appeal and development of the areas controlled by Paris-Charles de Gaulle,
  • Support for businesses,
  • Local residents’ access to jobs in the area,
  • Local residents’ mobility.
